Information We Collect
- Chat messages you send to the AI insurance advisor.
- Insurance declarations PDFs you upload, and the policy details extracted from them (insurer, coverage type, dates, premium, deductible, coverage limits, and ZIP code).
- ZIP code and property type entered in the "Find Carriers" search.
How We Use It
Extracted policy data is stored to provide carrier comparisons and recommendations to you and other users searching the same area. Chat history is stored to maintain conversation context.
What We Do Not Collect
Our PDF extraction process is instructed to exclude personally identifiable information — names, full street addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, VINs, license plates, and policy numbers — from what is stored, even if present in the uploaded document.
Data Storage
Extracted policy data is stored in a local database on our server. Conversation history is stored as local files. Neither is shared with third parties except as described below.
Third-Party Services
Chat responses are generated using a locally hosted language model. If live web search is enabled, search queries may be sent to a third-party search provider (Tavily) to retrieve current information; uploaded PDF content is not sent to that provider.
Data Retention
Stored policy and conversation data is retained until deleted by an administrator. Contact us if you would like your data removed.
